When 60 years ago the 'Junge Wilde' around Hans van Manen and Benjamin Harkarvy turned their backs on the National Ballet of the Netherlands, the Nederlands Dans Theater was born. After a second formative phase with Jiří Kylián, the works of Paul Lightfood and Sol Léon have now become the company's most influential assets. The fourth generation has long since danced its way into the hearts of the fans. So during this summer festival we can only wish them all the best: Happy Birthday, NDT!
