Hear one of today's leading oud players in recital at the Pierre Boulez Saal. Naseer Shamma performs a program of his own compositions.
Naseer Shamma was born in Iraq and has been based in Egypt since the 1990's. He brings his widely appreciated form of contemporary oud music to Berlin's newest chamber music hall.
