About the Event

Beethoven's music for piano was pivotal in determining the instrument's future. All‐round pianist Emanuel Ax will focus on the composer's works as part of the Great Pianists series. He'll also play two masterpieces from the first half of the twentieth century: Schönberg's Drei Klavierstücke and Anton Webern's Variationen für Klavier.
