Witness the German premiere of Georg Friedrich Haas' "Morning and Evening”, a work of musical theater about life and death, at once sad and hopeful.
It is a morning like any other, but something about Johannes’ world has changed. Long dead loved‐ones are suddenly present, and he has become invisible to his own daughter.
Haas’ second collaboration with Norwegian author Jon Fosse had its world premiere at the Royal Opera House in London, and it will have its German premiere at the Deutsche Oper Berlin.
Sung in German with English and German surtitles.
