Martin Kasik plays Beethoven: Prague Symphony Orchestra

About the Event

Marvel at the magnificent music of two of the greatest Germanic masters. Pietari Inkinen conducts the Prague Symphony in Bruckner's Seventh Symphony and Beethoven's Third Piano Concerto, with acclaimed Czech pianist, Martin Kasik, as soloist.

The most successful of Bruckner's works during his lifetime, and still among the composer's most popular works, the Seventh Symphony is particularly loved for its powerfully mournful Adagio, composed in the expectation of the death of Richard Wagner. Beethoven's C minor Third Concerto for Piano and Orchestra is similarly popular among pianists and public.
