Encounter a pianist tipped for greatness for the first, but assuredly not the last, time. Winner of the 2016 Queen Elisabeth Competition, the Czech pianist Lukáš Vondráček brings a decisive power to the keyboard.

Commencing with a rare minor‐key Mozart Sonata, Vondráček swiftly moves on to the Romantic era in which his full tone and muscular approach find their most natural home. Intuitive and mature, his instinctive ability to bring individual voices into clear focus will add new color to Schumann's 'Carnaval' and Brahms' 'Four Piano Pieces'.
