On the 40th anniversary of its foundation, the prestigious vocal group created by William Christie pays tribute to Carlo Gesualdo prince of Venosa, the most modern and enigmatic of Renaissance composers. Les Arts Florissants and tenor Paul Andrew sing madrigals from numerous madrigal books by Gesualdo.
