Allow yourself to be transported to the distant past by this acclaimed Italian group, specialists in the music of the Medieval period and beyond.

The program presents music by Paolino d’Aquileia, Jacopo da Bologna, Francesco Landini, Hildegard von Bingen, Wipo di Burgundia and other italian, French and English composers of XIII, XIV and XV centuries. Bologna's Oratorio di San Filippo Neri provides an eloquent backdrop for works by Jacopo da Bologna and Hildegard von Bingen, among others, as LaReverdie explores the myth and the reality of the legendary Charlemagne, through the medium of music.
