Christina Pluhar @ M. Borggreve
L’Arpeggiata : Himmelsmusik
Salle Gaveau, Paris - Main Hall
About the Event
Christina Pluhar surrounded by her fetish singers invites us to an exciting exploration of musical exchanges between North and South.
It is often and rightly said that the German music of the Baroque period is distinguished by its sound density through the use of counterpoint. But we must not forget that in the seventeenth century, under the guidance of the great Schütz, the Germanic world assimilated with greed the innovations coming from Italy, notably with a solar and virtuoso soloist song, concerned with words and affects.
Works by Schütz, Theile, Erlenbach, Ritter, Tunder…
