Konzerthausorchester Berlin & Michael Sanderling: Brahms' 'Ein deutsches Requiem'

About the Event

Rejoice in Brahms' glorious 'German Requiem' as the Konzerthaus Orchestra and the Berlin Philharmonic Choir join forces under the baton of Michael Sanderling. Michael Nagy and Christina Landshamer add their glowing voices to the richly‐Romantic texture of this work of praise.

Franz Liszt's variations on Bach's Cantata Weinen, Klagen, Sorgen, Zagen begin proceedings on a suitably reverent note, before Brahms' great oratorio lifts hearts and voices in praise — a fitting musical start to the Easter vigil.
