Celebrate the beauties of the Earth — and Mahler's music — with Iván Fischer and Berlin's Konzerthaus Orchestra. Gerhild Romberger and Andrew Staples add the richness of their voices to Mahler's score.
One of the lands most richly endowed with those beauties inspired Mendelssohn's 'Italian' Symphony, replete with the colors of Naples, Venice, and the Italian countryside. Alongside the warm golds and russet reds of Mahler's score, this concert promises to be a synaesthete's paradise!
