About the Event
This cross‐genre recital is an encounter between two minds, two composer‐performers and improvisers: Clarinetist Kinan Azmeh—a frequent guest at the Pierre Boulez Saal—and pianist Florian Weber—who returns in October for a concert with the Ensemble Modern—present their original compositions. Inspired by a multitude of different traditions, this is music that merges the languages of classical, world music, and jazz without being limited by any of them.
