Some talents mature very quickly indeed. Not yet 30 years of age, Julia Fischer has already established herself as one of today's greatest violinists, acclaimed for the depth and maturity of her playing.
As she studied the piano and the violin in parallel, she is also an accomplished pianist, but has pursued a concert career devoted to the violin, she explains, because of her more intense relationship with that instrument. It is, in any case, music that comes first for her and that she serves with humility and eloquence. A great artist.
Enjoy a concert with Julia Fischer and Milana Chernyavska performing works by Beethoven, Ysaÿe, and Saint-Saëns at the Centre for Fine Arts.
