About the Event

The singers of the Johannischer Chor Berlin will perform their festive Christmas concert on the stage of the Apostel‐Paulus‐Kirche in Berlin‐Schöneberg for the ninth time.
The mixed choir is designed and directed by Jens Lehmann. With 50 members of all ages and accompanied by a rich instrument set, festive songs from the most diverse European cultures are sung and played.
The impressive brick building is not only filled with a very mixed audience, the nave is soon penetrated by the wonderful variety of voices, from which a melodious body of sound is formed. Those who go to this concert will be rewarded with magnificent and beautiful local Christmas tunes and multilingual folklore from all over the world. The professionalism, the openness for other cultures and the balance of the programme make this choir an insider tip for concert lovers.
