With a program that combines the burning passion of Robert and Clara Schumann with the tender poetry of Johannes Brahms and the enchanted melancholy of César Franck, Jansen and Gavrylyuk immerse their audience completely in the spirit of romanticism.

Since her debut at the age of 19, Janine Jansen has been considered one of the greatest talents on her instrument. When she plays, one almost thinks the universe is starting to sing. Her instrument, her movements, even her whole body seem to dissolve into music.
Alexander Gavrylyuk is her partner at the duo evening in Berlin. The gold medal at the International Horowitz Competition in 1999 catapulted the Ukrainian‐Australian pianist into the front row of piano virtuosos, since then he has played recitals in important halls and concerts with the world's great orchestras.
