Ibermúsica Presents: Orquesta de Cadaqués

The Cadaqués Orchestra is back in Madrid at its best, has just celebrated its 30th anniversary and this season will perform in 24 European cities and halls such as the Philharmonie in Luxembourg, the Tonhalle in Zürich and the Festspielhaus in Baden Baden. In addition, the group, directed by Jaime Martín, will continue its relationship with such outstanding directors as Vladimir Ashkenazy, Gianandrea Noseda and Antoni Wit.
In this concert the group will perform with David Robertson. Currently, Robertson is the titular conductor of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and is frequently invited by the best orchestras and opera companies in the world. Previously, the American conductor had been titular conductor of the Orchestre National de Lyon and the Ensemble InterContemporain de Paris and also principal guest conductor of the BBC Symphony Orchestra.
Alongside them will be the young pianist Dmitry Masleev, winner of one of the world's most important piano competitions in 2015: the International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow.
