Hélène Grimaud Plays Ravel: Summer Concerts at Concertgebouw

About the Event

French pianist Hélène Grimaud brings one of her favorite works, Ravel's Piano Concerto in G, to the Concertgebouw, with the Australian Youth Orchestra and conductor Manfred Honeck.

Grimaud finds a fresh interpretation of Ravel's concerto for each performance, which she attributes to the open‐ended quality of the work itself. The program closes with Dvorak's colorful Ninth Symphony 'From the New World'.
