Water in all its forms has provided inspiration to an astonishing range of composers. From Debussy and Janáček's misty viewpoints, to the fountains of Ravel and Liszt, via Albéniz' seaport, or Berio's Wasserklavier, the element's multiple shades are transformed into music to both soothe and invigorate.
