About the Event

Händel's glorious oratorio, 'The Messiah', will be performed by the Orquestra Terrassa 48 and the Coral Cantiga.

Composed in the summer of 1741 and premiered in Dublin on 13 April 1742, 'The Messiah' is Händel's most famous creation and one of the most popular works in Western choral literature. It includes the very well‐known 'Hallelujah!' chorus.

The joyful arias and choruses of The Messiah are a perfect way to welcome the holiday season in Barcelona.
