Haydn, Bruckner: Sado & Tonkünstler Orchestra

About the Event

Yutaka Sado conducts an Austrian program which could easily have been written specially for the Tonkünstler Orchestra, featuring works by Haydn and Bruckner.

With the central work from the three ‘Tageszeiten’ symphonies, the concert begins with one of Joseph Haydn’s early works for his first patron Prince Paul Anton Esterházy. After the interval the orchestra will perform Anton Bruckner’s Fourth Symphony, in which gentle horn tremolos introduce a romantic musical experience in which every emotion is savoured intensely.
