Hannes Minnaar plays Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 22

About the Event

Delight in the effervescent musical personality and eloquent lyricism of the young Dutch star's playing. Minaar joins the South Netherland Philharmonic, under the baton of Kevin John Edusei, chief conductor of the Munich Symphony, for Mozart's evergreen Concerto No. 22.

Beethoven's light‐hearted Eighth Symphony cannot conceal the many subtleties that made its composer rate it more highly than his own popular Seventh Symphony. Beethoven loved to include musical 'in jokes' in his works — a predilection he shared with Mozart — and the Eighth Symphony is replete with examples of this good, if occasionally sly, humor.
