Since her first encounter with the Silent Songs by Valentin Silvestrov (*1937) almost 20 years ago, this music has not let go of Hélène Grimaud. Her programs frequently include works by the Ukrainian composer, and she has long been searching for a partner for the 'Silent Songs,' which she has now found, to her great delight, in the sensational young baritone Konstantin Krimmel. With the concert in the Berlin Cathedral, the two musicians will present their album, recorded in 2022, exclusively in Berlin.
