About the Event
Relish Brahms' luscious second concerto as the acclaimed American pianist, Garrick Ohlsson, brings his extraordinary technique and interpretation to Prague.
Petr Altrichter leads the Prague Symphony in two additional works, including the recently‐rediscovered 'Funeral Song' by the young Stravinsky, written in tribute to his teacher and mentor, Rimsky‐Korsakov. Fitting then, that the suite from Rimsky‐Korsakov's 'The Legend of the Invisible City of Kitezh' should complete a program replete with high Romanticism, and the first stirrings of a new age.
