Discover two Romantic rarities by Méhul and Franz Xaver Kleinheinz, paired with Beethoven's most immediately‐recognisable Symphony, the Fifth. François‐Xavier Roth brings his innovative Les Siècles ensemble to the Concertgebouw.

For many years, Kleinheinz' Mass in A was attributed to Méhul, in the belief that it had been composed for the 1804 coronation of Napoleon. Joined by the Vlaamse Radio Choir and a quartet of young soloists, Roth returns the Mass to its rightful composer and full orchestration.
