Festival Orchester Berlin: New Year's Eve Concert

About the Event

For 20 years the Festival Orchestra Berlin, a multicultural association of musicians from leading European orchestras, has been inspiring audiences with its repertoire of Baroque, Viennese Classicism and Romanticism, complemented by musical rarities. The orchestra plays on old Italian instruments and thus guarantees an outstandingly beautiful sound.
Within the ensemble there are some 'Bachians' who present the most beautiful Bach works in this New Year's Eve concert. With vitality and wit, pieces by Pachelbel and Grieg as well as the Salzburg Symphonies by Mozart are also heard. With Antonio Vivaldi's 'Winter' from the Four Seasons, the orchestra heralds the end of the year in the second part.
