Fazil Say: A Tribute to Hodern Turkey
About the Event
Yürüyen Kösk: the walking palace. Fazıl Say and laVerdi make a composition in homage to Kemal Atatürk, father of modern Turkey. In fact, in a biographical episode that has now become legendary, he wanted to save a plane tree tree by moving a farm that he would later donate to his people: a gesture of respect and generosity that the Turkish pianist and composer metaphorically envelops with two piano concerts by Mozart and Beethoven.
