The Deutsche Oper Berlin presents Tchaikovsky's moving version of Pushkin's story about a man who realises too late that he has lost everything.

The arrogant poet Onegin rejects the affections of the young, naïve Tatiana and only realises ten years later that she was his only chance at experiencing true love. He tells Tatiana, but she rejects him, saying that, even though she still loves him, she will respect her marriage vows.
