He is an exception among the countertenors: The Frenchman Philippe Jaroussky fascinated for two decades already with his crystal clear and radiant warm soprano on the opera and concert stages of the world and is cheered for it by the press and the audience alike. So it is hardly surprising that since 2016 a baptized in his name asteroid floating through space. For his debut in the Kulturpalast, the 'ray god among the countertenors' ('Süddeutsche Zeitung') once again abducts into heavenly spheres. For this, the singer and the ensemble Artaserse founded by him in 2002 have Baroque opera pearls by Handel and Vivaldi in their luggage, which invite to a dazzling listening pleasure.
