About the Event
Ancient and modern music meet in the programme of one of the most prestigeous French groups of ancient music, the Ensemble Aedes, under the direction of Mathieu Romano who founded the group.
Romano belongs to one of the new generation of versatile conductors who has opted to perform music from all ages a capella. The perfect combination of their voices adapts wonderfully to Tomás Luis de Victoria’s Renaissance polyphony which, in a musical ellipsis, could be collocated with composers such as Poulenc or Casals.
