English Cathedral Music for Christmas: Choir of Saint John's College

About the Event

Celebrate the season in the grand English tradition of choral and organ music. The acclaimed choir of Saint John's College, Cambridge, and celebrated organist Thomas Trotter bring the music that underpins the ceremonies of Advent and Christmas in an English Cathedral to the Konzerthaus.

Music by the great Twentieth Century English sacred composers Herbert Howells, John Tavener, Gerald Finzi and Bob Chilcott, among others, sits side by side with organ music by Mendelssohn, Bach, Marcel Dupré, and Garth Edmundson, to create a Christmas concert to remember.
