Revel in the magic that happens when true masters meet. Revered in their individual spheres, the Emerson Quartet and Marc‐André Hamelin come together for Brahms' powerful Piano Quintet.

Two of the twentieth century's most masterful quartets begin the program. Ravel's Quartet in F return to classical structures in the wake of French Impressionism, but innovates with creative genius within them. Alban Berg's two‐movement quartet similarly revisits and reworks the past, though this time looking back to the Romantic era.
