Evelyn Herlitzius sings the title role, with Waltraud Meier as Clytemnestra, in Richard Strauss' "Elektra" at Gran Teatre del Liceu.
Set in an indefinite time, this final production by the late French film and theater director, Patrice Chéreau, masterfully exposes the humanity of the tragic characters.

The Gran Teatre del Liceu recommends Category 2 for the finest and completely unobstructed view of the performance. The stage is not visible from seats starting in row 2 of Category 8.
