Begin Easter with the Prague Symphony and the Prague Philharmonic Choir as they perform Dvořák's first sacred work — the Stabat Mater — under the baton of Tomáš Brauner.

Begun and completed in the emotional aftermath of the loss of first one, then both his remaining children, the work is replete with understanding of the grief and suffering of Mary at the foot of the cross. Deeply moving, and profoundly symphonic, Dvořák's work is one of the great passiontide oratorios.
