For fans of classical ballet, Nureyev's 'Don Quixote', based on Petipa's choreography, is a highlight of any dance season. The Norwegian National Ballet performs the challenging and exuberant work, accompanied by the Norwegian National Opera Orchestra.
With leaps, rapid‐fire movement, and dramatic interpretation, Nureyev's ballet gives the dancers a chance to demonstrate their virtuosity.
