Indulge in an evening of music á la Russe. Celebrated conductor Dimitri Kitaenko leads the Konzerthaus Orchestra in music for opera, ballet, and orchestra.

Special guests Olesya Golovneva and Dmytro Popov join Kitaenko for extracts from Tchaikovsky's opera 'Iolanta'. Stravinsky's music for Le baiser de la fée and the symphony that marked Shostakovich's rehabilitation — the Fifth — offer the best of Russian 20th Century symphonic music.
