Der Fliegende Holländer: Teatro Real

About the Event

During a surprising storm, Wagner's boat was thrown against the shores of Scandinavia. The force of the thunder and roar of the sea inspired the composer to evoke the spirit of a sailor sentenced to a desperate search for salvation.

Alex Ollé's production of "The Flying Dutchman" bears the signature of the groundbreaking theater group, La Fura dels Baus. The staging brings out the struggle between good and evil, light and darkness.

Practical Information

Please note: In some areas of the Teatro Real, some seats have a partially obstructed view of the stage. Teatro Real recommends category B for the finest and completely unobstructed view of the performance.
