Curtis Stigers tells about his idol Sinatra: 'Frank taught me how to tell a story. Recently, jazz vocalist and saxophonist Curtis Stigers released a tribute: One More for the Road. I waited all my career for the moment I was allowed to sing this repertoire. Today he is doing so live with the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw. Dennis Mackrel leads classics like Fly Me to the Moon and Makin' Whoopee. Every note is bursting with energy,' says Stigers.

Frank Sinatra

It Was a Very Good Year, 1966, when Frank Sinatra recorded his first live album. He played the Sands casino hotel flat with the legendary Count Basie Orchestra. From I've Got You Under My Skin to Angel Eyes, this was Sinatra at his best. Elegant, cheeky, hip, stirring — and very sexy, according to Stigers about his favourite Summer Wind. With the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw, the American shows himself to be the most versatile.
