Concertgebouw Orchestra performs Wagner’s Lohengrin

About the Event

Andris Nelsons joins the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra for a performance of Richard Wagner's "Lohengrin". The orchestra will be joined by a star‐studded cast of Wagner experts including Falk Struckmann, Klaus Florian Vogt, Camilla Nylund, and Evgeny Nikitin.

The opera about a mysterious Swan Knight, based on the medieval Grail legend and the Parsifal epic, moved King Ludwig II of Bavaria so much that he built the fairy castle Neuschwanstein in honor of Wagner's work.
