Be immersed in two of Stravinsky's masterpieces dedicated to dance, showcasing choreography by George Balanchine and Pina Bausch with new works by Japanese choreographer Saburo Teshigawara.

Presented for the first time on the stage of the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris in 1913, Le Sacre du Printemps caused a sensational stir due to the avant-garde nature of its music and choreography. Pina Bausch's version is a pure burst of energy full of dancers on an earth‑covered stage engaging in an almost ritualistic dance. Agon was born from the collaboration between Stravinsky and Balanchine, and Esa‑Pekka Salonen’s Violin Concerto is commissioned for Teshigawara's work.
