About the Event
This is the 100th year since the end of World War I. This concert draws attention to the fact that although Europe is experiencing a long period of peace, peace in the world is not a matter of course and is more necessary than ever.
'More than 70 years of peace — do we and our youth in Europe know what that means,' Manfred Honeck asked when he started rehearsals with the European Union Youth Orchestra. Young musicians from all over Europe, together with participating world stars, are building musical bridges with this concert in St. Stephen's Cathedral — across all borders!
The stage is not directly visible from seats in Category 3. The concert presenter recommends Categories 1‐2 for the best view.
