About the Event

Celebrate the humor and daring of the acclaimed Austrian composer, performer, conductor, and musical polymath. HK Gruber joins musicians of the Royal Swedish Opera Orchestra as soloist in the work for which he has won widespread acclaim.

Among Gruber's colleagues and countrymen in the Third Viennese School is Kurt Schwertsik, inspired by Satie and Dada. Schwertsik's 'Transformation Scenes' begins a concert full of transfiguration and otherworldly creatures.
