About the Event

The final evening of this special series of concerts dedicated to Beethoven's complete symphonies logically closes the cycle with the famous Ninth and its 'Ode to Joy', performed by the Orchestre des Champs‐Elysées, the Collegium Vocale Gent, and soloists, under the direction of Philippe Herreweghe.

The Orchestre des Champs‐Elysées celebrates its 25th anniversary with this special program dedicated to one of the most, if not the most, influential composers of all time. Beethoven's Eighth is also on the program of this evening.
