About the Event

COBLA SANT JORDI — CITY OF BARCELONA

Founded in Barcelona in 1983, this cobla cultivates all areas of the copla's own repertoire. This formation has performed in all the regions of Catalonia and Northern Catalonia, and regularly takes part in the most important sardana demonstrations. It has had a repeated presence at various international music festivals (such as the Greek, Peralada, Vendrell, Sant Feliu de Guíxols and Rialp) and was the star of the 'Cobla, Corazón y Danza' concert series at the Palau de la Música Catalana. Plus, it has also performed in the Gran Teatre del Liceu and in the main auditoriums in Catalonia, as well as in Germany, Great Britain, Italy, France and the United States.
