Classical music before eight: Szymon Nehring in Munich

About the Event

Szymon Nehring is the first Polish pianist to win the Arthur Rubinstein Piano Competition 2017 in Tel Aviv. In addition to the 1st prize and the gold medal, Nehring received numerous special prizes and the prize for the best interpretation of a work by Chopin. Nehring studied with in Kraków and at the Music Academy in Bydgoszcz. Since 2017 he has been working with Boris Berman at the Yale School of Music in the USA. Szymon Nehring has been sponsored by Krystian Zimerman since 2015.
