In this recital, pianist Alexander Karpeev explores the personal responses of ten composers from six European countries to the enchanting themes of winter and Christmas celebrations. The program concludes with Mikhail Pletnev's concert arrangement from Tchaikovsky's beloved ballet, The Nutcracker.
