The world famous Italian mezzo‐soprano, Cecilia Bartoli, gives life to the most passionate and moving heroines from Händel's works, accompanied by the ensemble Les Musiciens du Prince.

From the sorceress Alcina, to the abandoned Cleopatra from 'Giulio Cesare' the nymph Daphne from the opera 'Apollo e Dafne', and the passionate Armida from 'Rinaldo', Bartoli incarnates the fury and the passion of fearless and truly extraordinary female characters.
