Prague Proms Festival 2018: Brussels Jazz Orchestra: Smooth Shake
About the Event
The Brussels Jazz Orchestra – otherwise known as BJO – will be performing in the Czech Republic for the first time, bringing along their Smooth Shake programme with Bert Joris.
Several times Bobby Shew has convinced us of his value along with that of other artists he either brings along to Prague or recommends to us. This year we went for a top level European bigband whose calibre has been attested to by many prominent soloists including Bobby Shew, Chuck Findley, Eric Marienthal, Joe Lovano, not to mention the trumpeter Bert Joris.
