The great actor Bruno Ganz and the celebrated Delian Quartet invite you to an artistically designed literary‐musical journey from the Orient to the West. Whether the tales of Thousand and One Nights, flying carpets, magnificent palaces, wonder lamps or fabulous treasures: The Orient has always been the subject of dreams, longings and passions, fascinating and inspiring writers, philosophers and artists of the West.

The high art of recitation is combined with enchanting string quartet sounds. For more than half a century, the Swiss Bruno Ganz has impressed audiences in theatres and cinemas with his precisely restrained performance, fascinating them with soft, intense sounds. The Delian Quartet, which has been one of Europe's leading chamber music ensembles since it was founded in 2007, also relies on the magic of expressively nuanced sounds and embarks on a journey of discovery with Bruno Ganz.
