Bruckner Symphony No. 7 & Mozart: Barenboim, Staatskapelle Berlin at Carnegie Hall
About the Event
Relish the chance to hear the Berliners play Bruckner and Mozart under the baton of the legendary Daniel Barenboim.
Advancing toward the completion of Carnegie Hall's first cycle of Bruckner's symphonies, Barenboim pairs Mozart's delightful Sinfonia concertante for violin, viola, and orchestra with the powerful emotional sweep of Bruckner's Seventh Symphony. Widely popular now, as at its premiere, the Adagio movement includes a moving tribute to Bruckner's hero, Wagner.
