The orchestra of the Bayerische Staatsoper is one of the oldest, and best, in the world. The chamber concert programme is a chance to hear the players in a more intimate setting.

In this Festival concert, the programme includes Webern's Langsamer Satz for string quartet, Schubert's Rosamunde quartet, and Brahms' Piano Quintet in F minor — all performed in the beautiful baroque Cuvilliés‐Theater in the Munich Residenz Palace.
